Which Race to Pick

Your race gives permanent stat bonuses that stack with your weapon and skill choices. There are 10 races with drop rates ranging from 0.3% (Demon) to 26% (Human). When you roll a duplicate race, it upgrades that race's star level (up to 3 stars), making the bonuses stronger.

Demon (0.3%) is the best all-around race: +12% attack, +6% crit rate, +12% crit damage, +12% skill damage, -12% cooldown, +24% move speed, +30% dash distance. Angel (0.4%) is nearly as strong with +10% attack, +5% crit, +10% crit damage, +15% HP, +20% move speed, +30% dash, and +10% ultimate charge. Always keep either of these.

Fairy (1.2%) excels at crit builds with +11% crit rate and +16% crit damage plus +21% ultimate charge. Dragoon was a Season 1 exclusive (no longer obtainable) with +7% attack, +12% crit, +17% crit damage, and +22% move speed — keep it if you have it. Sorcerer (1.6%) is a glass cannon with +10% crit, +15% crit damage, +10% skill damage, and +20% ultimate charge.

Dragonkin (6%) offers crit damage + mobility: +10% crit damage, +10% skill damage, +20% dash distance. Undead (13%) is solid for survivability: +10% skill damage, -8% cooldown, +10% HP. Goblin (24.5%) is mobility-focused: -20% dash cooldown, +10% move speed. All three are decent temporary races while saving rerolls for A/S tier.

Orc (26%) gives +5% attack and +10% HP — acceptable early game, especially with low rerolls. Human (26%) only gives +5% attack and is the weakest race. Reroll from Human as soon as you have spare codes. Orc can stay if you're low on rerolls, since duplicates upgrade its star level easily.

Keep any S-tier (Demon, Angel) or A-tier (Fairy, Sorcerer) race immediately. For B-tier races, consider your reroll budget — Dragonkin and Undead are fine to keep if you're low on codes. Always reroll from Human. Remember: duplicate rolls upgrade star level, so a 3-star Orc can outperform a 1-star Dragonkin in raw stats.
